It is Time to Get Your Nights Back with the Atlanta ENT Sleep Center

Atlanta ENT is proud to announce that our new, state of the art sleep center is now open and accepting patients. Patients with sleep problems and sleep disorders will now have access to diagnostic services, including home sleep studies, on-location overnight sleep studies and C-Pap sleep tests with C-PAP and Bi-PAP machines on-site. Previously, our patients were sent off-site for these services.

Sleep studies are useful diagnostic tests conducted while a patient sleeps, with the goal of diagnosing sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, parasomnias and circadian rhythm disorders. Sleep apnea is the sleep disorder most commonly found and treated in a sleep center.

Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder that affects over 18 million Americans. Sadly, most sleep apnea patients go undiagnosed. The most common type of sleep apnea is obstructive sleep apnea, or OSA, which involves the soft tissues of the throat. During sleep, these soft tissues collapse and block the airway, causing an undiagnosed patient to stop breathing repeatedly throughout the night.

Sleep apnea leads to a number of life-threatening diseases and health problems, including:

Most people ignore the symptoms of sleep apnea, which include snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, waking throughout the night, sore throat upon waking and morning headaches. If you experience any of these symptoms, or if your snoring or waking throughout the night is costing your partner sleep, call us today at 404-255-2918 to schedule a consultation and sleep study at the new Atlanta ENT Sleep Center, located at The Medical Quarters, 5555 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road, Suite 125, in Sandy Springs.

To celebrate the opening of the Atlanta ENT Sleep Center, we are offering a coupon of $50 to be used towards the cost of a home sleep study. Call us today to make your appointment, and get your nights back!
